Hoop Lab's
Designed
Different AAU

Build players first. Use competition to test the work. This is not a tournament-first AAU program — it's a development system that competes. Train, practice, compete, evaluate, fix and go back out again.

$450/mo
12-Month Program · $5,400 Total Tuition
The $450 monthly payment is an installment toward the $5,400 12-month program tuition — not a cancel-anytime membership. Final agreement subject to NJ attorney review.
The Hoop Lab Way

Development
First.
Always.

Most AAU programs recruit a team and fill a schedule. We build players and use games to test the work. Skill training gives players the tools. Team practice teaches them how and when to use those tools. Performance training develops the physical side. Competition shows us what still needs work.

The goal is not to fill a roster. The goal is to build players who look noticeably different after a year in the system.

TRAIN PRACTICE TEST
EVALUATE FIX RETEST
🎯
Individual Skill Development
Zach Leach and Hoop Lab trainers handle shooting, ball handling, footwork, finishing and player evaluations. The same system used with NBA pros applied to every player.
🏀
Team Practice & Concepts
Spacing, defense, transition, small-sided games and game preparation. A dedicated head coach leads team practice so players learn how to apply their skills in real game situations.
Performance Training
Speed, strength, movement and athletic development. Working plan includes 1 performance session per week with Collis and performance staff.
🏆
Selective Competition
Tournaments are used to test development — not to fill every weekend. We compete when it reveals something worth fixing. Film, teaching and evaluations follow every competitive stretch.

Active Roster
Compete & Develop

Target of 10 players. Active Roster players are eligible for team competition. Playing time, starting position and permanent roster status are not guaranteed — basketball decisions are made by the coaching staff based on development, effort, attendance, coachability and team need.

Development Roster
Train, Practice & Earn Your Way Up

Approximately 3–5 players. Development Roster players train and practice fully inside the system with the same access to Group Classes, Shooting Lab, team practices and performance sessions. Elevation to the Active Roster is earned — based on development, attendance, effort and team need.
