Zach
Leach
NBA Skills / I'm Possible Master Trainer. Founder of NJ's #1 Basketball Skills Facility. Over 10 years developing players from first graders to NBA All-Stars.
CEO & Founder of
Hoop Lab & Shooting Lab
Zach Leach is the CEO and Founder of Hoop Lab and Shooting Lab in Freehold, New Jersey — a renowned I'm Possible / TDSE basketball skill enhancement trainer recognized for his work with athletes ranging from youth players to NBA professionals.
What sets Zach apart is his focus on the finer skills, movements and details that most programs overlook. While others focus on situational play and repetition, Zach zeroes in on the mechanics and characteristics that separate good players from great ones — at every level.
Master Trainer
Following his playing career, Zach became a Master Trainer with the I'm Possible Training system — a distinction reserved for the top basketball development specialists in the world. He has trained thousands of players worldwide, from youth athletes to NBA All-Stars.
His client list includes NBA All-Star Karl-Anthony Towns, NBA player Jamir Watkins of the Washington Wizards, NBA G-League standout Scottie Lewis, and professionals such as Nate Pierre-Louis, Leilani Correa, Marques Townes and Darius Adams — a McDonald's All-American.
Global Reach
In addition to founding Hoop Lab, Zach has run the Jacqueline Towns Basketball Clinic at Kean University for four years — honoring the late Jacqueline Cruz-Towns, the mother of Karl-Anthony Towns.
He has also led week-long clinics in Israel in 2018 and 2019, and partnered with LIKE23 in Spain, coaching groups of 70–80 athletes annually. Players have traveled from Hong Kong, Germany, Jamaica, the Philippines, China, Turkey, Israel and across the USA to train at Hoop Lab.
From Michigan
to the Court
Originally from Sparta, Michigan, Zach was a three-year varsity starter in high school, earning All-Conference honors as a guard before earning a basketball scholarship to Kuyper College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
At Kuyper, he averaged 18.7 points and 9.7 assists per game, shooting 67% from midrange, 38% from three and 92% from the free-throw line. He earned Honorable Mention All-Conference recognition and built a reputation as one of the NCCAA's most efficient guards.
Beyond the Court
Zach has partnered with brands like Way of Wade and Kane Footwear, and created HoopLab+, an online training platform with pro-level drills, video breakdowns and development programs accessible to players anywhere in the world.
His expertise, passion and global experience have made Hoop Lab and Shooting Lab trusted destinations for serious player development — from first graders in Freehold to NBA pros around the world.
